THE ATELIER
Ritual Atelier is an artist-led house at the threshold between art and lived experience.
Through participatory works, private rites and artefacts, the Atelier creates charged spaces where dream, symbol and body move into being.
Composed through material, image, gesture and movement, each work takes form through the presence of those who enter it.
Here, what has been felt, longed for, silenced or not yet brought into being is given form.

Participatory ritual-art works. A shared field to enter.
Each Encounter is composed as a living altar, where body and imagination become the medium.
Encounters may unfold as evening works, day immersions, seasonal rites, residencies or site-responsive commissions.
RITUAL-ART ENCOUNTER I
Vessel of Dreams
Vessel of Dreams invites participants to enter a living work of ritual-art shaped through image, movement and voice.
Through moving image, sound and guided imagination, the body becomes a vessel for what lives beneath the surface.
From the waters of the imagination, the dream moves through the body and begins to take shape.

Private Commissions
Rites
Rite of Way is a series of private ritual-art commissions for a person, pair or group at a personal, creative or professional threshold: an ending, a beginning or a turning point.
Each Rite is an original work, authored by Ann Shuptrine in dialogue with its patron and composed in response to the person, place and passage.
These private works unfold through dialogue, embodied creative enquiry and immersive studio or site-specific time, with each Rite taking its own form.
Private rites are individually composed and offered by enquiry. Single encounters begin from £950; fuller rites are shaped according to scope, duration, location and the threshold at hand. A limited number of commissions are opened each year.Available in London and beyond, by arrangement.

Each artefact transmutes a cosmology of symbols into material form.

Ritual Atelier is founded and directed by Ann Shuptrine, an artist working across embodied perception, ritual, material practice and living systems.
Drawing on the moving body, field-based practice and the symbolic life of matter, she creates living works, private rites and artefacts that give shape to the imaginal.
